Daniel E. Rivera is a Professor of Chemical Engineering at Arizona State University (ASU), serving as the Program Director for the Control Systems Engineering Laboratory in the School for Engineering of Matter, Transport, and Energy (SEMTE), Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering. After receiving his Ph.D. from Caltech and working for Shell Development Company, he joined the ASU faculty in 1990. He is a Fellow of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) and the Society of Behavioral Medicine (SBM), and is a recognized leader in process control, as well as its application to behavioral medicine.
