Dr. Potter is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Population Health Sciences at the Huntsman Cancer Institute and University of Utah. Her research focuses on using mHealth (e.g., wearable sensors, EMA) to understand how interpersonal, intrapersonal, and contextual factors influence health behavior. She received her PhD in Biobehavioral Health from Penn State and completed her postdoctoral training at the University of Utah; she also holds an MPH from Drexel University. Dr. Potter has led multiple NIH-funded projects, including her K99/R00, focused on proximal risk for tobacco lapse and developing Just-in-Time Adaptive Interventions for chronic disease prevention.
