Angela Fidler Pfammatter, MS, PhD, is the Senior Methodologist for the College of Education, Health, and Human Science, and Associate Professor of Public Health. She earned her MS (2006) and PhD in clinical health psychology (2012) at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. She completed a clinical postdoctoral fellowship (2013) at the Capital District Health Authority in Halifax, Nova Scotia and a research postdoctoral fellowship in Behavioral Medicine (2015) at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Prior to coming to UTK, she was faculty in Preventive Medicine at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine where she maintains an Adjunct Associate Professor appointment. Her research is focused on using mHealth tools and optimization research methodology to develop behavioral interventions for the purpose of preventing chronic disease. Her work is currently funded by several grants from the National Institutes of Health.
